Unusual Christmas Tree Ideas
Executive Summary about christmas tree topper by Enid Edginton

When is a christmas tree more than a christmas tree and more akin to a piece of art? After reading the following christmas tree ideas you will realize that there is a very fine line between just a tree and a piece of original sculpture. If you have a passion for unusual christmas trees maybe you will find some of the following ideas inspirational. Keep in mind that most of the christmas tree ideas below work best as miniature tabletop trees or holiday table centerpieces.

The Bead Tree

Bead trees are simply a cone of paper that is circled by a long strand of beads that are glued to it. These beads coil repeated around the cone until they resemble a christmas tree. The Candy Cane Christmas Tree

This little tree looks nice using candy canes that are either red or green striped. The Lollipop Christmas Tree

This is inspired by one of Martha Stewart’s unusual christmas tree ideas. You can also decorate this tree with edible gold or silver cake decorations. A Christmas star made out of shortbread covered with glitter makes a great tree topper for these types of unusual christmas trees.

The Pine Cone Tree

To make this tree all you need is several very healthy looking pine cones. Glue them together in a conical shape until you have a shape that resembles a christmas tree. Glue acorns and holly berries on the sides to mimic christmas decorations and glue a large one on top of the tree to create a christmas tree topper.

The Pipe Cleaner Christmas Tree

This is one of the classic christmas tree ideas that is fun to do with the kids. The beads can then be slipped over the pipe cleaner branches as decorations. A star shaped bead can be used as the tree topper.

The Puff Pastry Christmas Tree

The Sequined Christmas Tree

The Tropical Fruit Christmas Tree

Christmas in France – Try Out These Top 3 French Christmas Traditions During the Holidays
Executive Summary about christmas in france by R. Smith

Ahh, wouldn’t it be absolutely delightful to actually celebrate Christmas in France this year? While various regions of France may have some of their own specialized traditions, overall there are a few that are “must-do’s” regardless of where you live in the country. So, if you want to have a touch of Christmas in France brought into your own home, here are the top three favorites that every home in France will incorporate into their seasonal celebrations.

Réveillon: A French Christmas Feast

Food is an important part of French history. Unlike our traditions in North America, where we eat our large turkey dinner on Christmas day, in France it is customary to have a huge Christmas Eve feast instead. There are many favorite dishes overall, while others are specialties of certain regions. In essence though, most of these feasts will contain a variety of cheeses, pâtés, winter fruits, breads, canapés, fish and/or shellfish, the main meat and vegetable courses, and ending in a variety of desserts.

Serving a Bûche de Noel for Dessert

A Buche de Noel is what many of us call a Yule Log (usually chocolate in flavor). It is made with a jelly-rolled sponge cake that is filled with a butter cream frosting. The remaining decorations will often consist of marzipan leaves and cherries to simulate holly, and a placement of meringue mushrooms.

Christmas Decorations: The Crèche (Manger)

In pretty well every French home you will find a beautiful array of decorations – candles, flowers, decorated pine cones, and lots more. However, the main featured decoration will be the crèche, a nativity manger scene. What a lovely tradition!

Once the entire scene is set up one last thing remains… waiting for Christmas Eve when the tiny infant Jesus is placed within the manger.

Wishing you a “Joyeux Noel!”

Princess Cruise Lines
Executive Summary about princess cruise lines by Robert Grazian

Princess Cruise Lines began in 1966 when the “Princess Patricia” was chartered by Stanley MacDonald to undertake cruises from Los Angeles to the Mexican coastline. The “Princess Italia” ended up doing Alaskan and European cruises as well. A third ship, the “Princess Carla”, was quickly added to the growing company.

Princess Cruise Lines was going from strength to strength and in 1974 the company was purchased by P&O (the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation Company), who assed the “Sun Princess” to the fleet. It wasn’t until 1984 that the first ship, the “Royal Princess”, was the first liner specifically built for the Princess Cruise Lines Company.

Many ships and routes were added to the Princess Cruise Lines brand. Princess Cruise Lines ended up being separated from P&O in 2000, before Carnival Corporation merged with P&O and all of its separate companies, to incorporate twelve cruising brands.

Princess Cruise Lines is now marketed as Princess Cruises and runs seventeen cruise lines, which include three small ships.

Cruises from Princess Cruise Lines may not be cheap but they are an unforgettable experience.

Once you find the right Christmas art, quilt patterns to showcase it generally fall right into place. First, select simple art. Maybe your first Christmas art quilt pattern design shouldn’t be an intricate scene. A Christmas art quilt pattern that centers on a Christmas tree can be very simple or more intricate, depending on your skill level. Once you find the Christmas art you want to use for your quilt pattern, print it out and you’ll have your Christmas art.

Xmas Cruise – The Amazing Experience
Executive Summary about christmas cruises by Lucy Henderson

Beat the stresses of the festive season and the cold, miserable weather by going on a Christmas cruise! Many cruise ships cater for families, with some travel companies offering free child places. Many cruise ships even offer the usual Christmas festivities on board. These include having Santa aboard ship and serving the traditional Christmas dinner, and some liners even hold midnight mass on Xmas eve. The advantage of going on a cruise is that a cruise ship is big enough to accommodate all passengers’ needs: if you wish to join in the festivities of the season, fine – but if you wish to forget about Xmas and simply ‘get away from it all,’ you can do this too.

Once you have decided to book an Xmas cruise, the next decision involves choosing the destination. If you love everything about the festive season, why not consider a luxury river cruise along the Rhine and Danube rivers, taking in the sights of Germany, Austria and Hungary? Places to visit include Nuremberg, Vienna and Budapest.

What better way to beat the winter blues than to take an Xmas cruise in The Caribbean? Take in Jamaica’s stunning scenery and visit Montego Bay’s Dunn’s River Falls. Hawaiian Xmas cruises are always a popular choice. If you really want to push the boat out, consider Hawaii.

Other popular destinations for Xmas cruises include Asia and Fiji

Some people are put off booking Xmas cruises because they think they cannot afford it. Booking your dream Xmas cruise need not cost the earth at all.
