Decorating Christmas Trees With Style
Executive Summary about decorating for christmas by Enid Edginton

Does your christmas tree look too old fashioned?

STYLE TIP #1:

The big fat round artificial christmas tree is out and the slim artificial tree is in. This is because when it comes to decorating christmas tree the trends lately lean more towards tall and conical shapes rather than fat and round shapes.

It was Queen Victoria who insisted on the tallest tree possible for her living room and the narrow tree girth was also necessary in order to fit these tall slender trees into Victorian homes. Natural trees that tend to be tall and slim are the spruces and firs. When it comes to fake xmas trees, more and more manufacturers are releasing slim artificial trees that can fit more easily into our cramped urban lifestyle.

STYLE TIP #2

Artificial is in and natural trees are out. Okay, so maybe real christmas trees will never go out of fashion but if you are a bit of style snob then the trend is towards an artificial tree in the wildest color you can find. Every year, artificial trees are looking more and more cartoonish. The slim artificial trees in wild colors are very popular with younger people. Probably the two most trendy colors for trees are the red and white. The white artificial trees are just simply gorgeous, especially the prelit artificial trees with branches that have glowing fiber optic tips.

Cheap Cruise – Top 10 Tips for Finding a Cheap Cruise Line Deal
Executive Summary about christmas cruise deal by George Alarcon

Today it has become much easier to take a cruise vacation to almost any destination in the world; it has become extremely popular among vacationers to choose a cruise, and especially for the fact that prices have fallen. I have listed the top tips on how to get a cheap cruise line deal.

2. If you want to get a cheap cruise deal, you must be willing to act fast on such deals.

3. Nowadays you can shop online for a cheap cruise deal by searching for last minute deals. A great time to search for cheap tickets are 60 days before the cruise starts.

4. Another tactic: book on an out-of-season cruise in order to get a great deal.

5. Consider going on a cruise during shoulder season. For example, on an Alaskan cruise you may save up to 50% when departing the week after peak season.

6. During the course of your cruise, do not register for shore trips; these will handsomely make your overall cruise line bill higher.

10 Truly Personal Gift Ideas
Executive Summary about
christmas gifts ideas by Ben Williamson

Choosing a great gift gets harder and harder each year, doesn’t it? I remember it being so easy when I was a child. All I had to do was scrape together a few pennies and toddle off to the shops to find my Dad’s preferred bar of chocolate, a bunch of flowers for my Mum, some sparkly bangles for my sister and that was my Christmas gift list sorted. Birthdays were the same …either chocolate, flowers or jewellery – depending on who I was buying for. Perhaps all the other children saved their pocket money for ages and bought their parents the gifts they actually deserved.

Since my childhood, I have found that buying a gift has become harder each year. Hopefully he’ll be a little more creative than I was!

I like to make the effort when buying a gift.

1. Print a photo on a mug.

2. A Beach Bag!

If you need to think of a gift for someone during the summer, a beach bag is great idea – and not too expensive. My mum is always on holiday and loves bags. Problem solved me thinks!

Whatever Happened to Christmas?
Executive Summary about the christmas store by LeAnn R. Ralph

Remember when no one started Christmas shopping until after Thanksgiving?

Wisconsin author LeAnn R. Ralph remembers it very well.

No one was really thinking about Christmas shopping before that,” Ralph said. Ralph’s new book, Christmas In Dairyland (True Stories From a Wisconsin Farm), celebrates Christmas during that simpler time.

“Back then, happiness was baking cookies, decorating the Christmas tree, and eating lefse that my mother had made,” Ralph said.

Ralph’s mother was the daughter of Norwegian immigrants, and their 120-acre family farm was homesteaded by Ralph’s great-grandfather.
